CONDITIONAL PRIZE CONTEST FOR ECU FOOTBALL GAMES ON FOLLOWING DATES

( 9/10/11, 9/24/11, 10/01/11, 10/08/11, 10/15/11, 10/22/11, 10/39/11, 11/05/11, 11/12/11, 11/19/11, 11/26/11)

1.     Greenville Nissan and WITN/witn.com will conduct dual contests on the above listed contest date(s) for a chance to win the following grand prize:

a.)     Final Score Prediction Grand Prize – 2011 Nissan Rogue - Thirty-nine (39)- month lease and thirty-nine (39) - $100 monthly gas cards (max value of $18,000.00) (One (1) per contest.) (Prize value based upon thirty-nine (39) monthly lease payments of $355.00 plus thirty-nine (39) monthly gas cards valued at $100.00 each)

2.     Contest(s) can be entered prior to game-time on-line at www.witn.com , or by completing contest registration form at Greenville Nissan, 991 SW Greenville Blvd., Greenville, NC 27834 and/or special contest registration events during the East Carolina Pirates 2011 Regular Season. Official game registration will begin at 12:00am on 8/27/11 and conclude at 11:59pm on 11/22/11. No Purchase Necessary. One (1) entry per day, per entry method. Each contestant must fill out an official entry blank for the chance to become an official finalist in the conditional grand prize contest giveaway. All information on the form must be completed to become an eligible entry. All entrants must attempt to predict the exact final score of the designated East Carolina Pirates football game. The exact final score prediction must be clearly and legibly recorded on the official entry blank and delivered to WITN by 6:00pm local time two (2) days prior to the designated game to be considered eligible to become an official finalist prediction.

3.     A total of 2 finalists per game will be randomly selected from all the entries received by 5:00pm on the day three (3) days prior to that week’s game for the chance to win the grand prize(s). One contestant will be selected from entries received on-line on www.witn.com; the second contestant will be selected from entries received at Greenville Nissan and/or the special contest registration events. The selected finalist’s names will be announced on WITN 7 News at 6:00pm- three (3) days prior to game day. WITN/witn.com will then contact the selected finalist(s) via e-mail and they must reply to WITN/witn.com within 24 hours and submit their written prediction by 5:00pm on the day that is two (2) days prior to the designated game to be eligible to win. If either of the selected finalists fails to contact WITN/witn.com and/or provide their prediction, that finalist will be eliminated from the contest, and will not be eligible to participate for the chance to win the grand prize. An alternate finalist will then be selected from the matching pool of contest entries.

4.     At the completion of the designated game, each finalist’s one (1) official prediction will be compared against the actual final score from that week’s game. A Grand Prize winner will be declared only if one or both of the finalist’s one (1) official prediction exactly matches the actual final score of the designated game. Maximum of two (2) grand prize winners, one (1) grand prize per entry method. If none of the official finalist(s) prediction(s) matches the actual final score of the designated game, no grand prize will be awarded.

5.     If there is a grand prize winner, the winner must come to WITN/witn.com or Greenville Nissan at a mutually agreed date and time at least two weeks prior to the delivery of the grand prize.

6.     The Promotion is open to all legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia (except NY and FL) who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and whose primary residence is within 150 miles of WITN’s primary office. Employees of Greenville Nissan, WITN (the “Station”), its parent, subsidiary, and affiliated entities, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other broadcasting stations in the Greenville-New Bern-Washington metropolitan area, and the members of their immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings or children) or households (whether related or not) are ineligible to participate or win. This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void outside the United States, in NY and FL, as applicable, and where prohibited.

7.     One valid entry per contest. Only one winner per household. Only one registered account per voter. If multiple accounts are detected for a single voter, they will be disabled and votes disqualified.

8.     Entrants are required to provide truthful information and the Station will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. The Station will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and will also delete any entry as required by law.

10.  Persons who have been previously selected as a finalist in this contest, or who have won another contest or promotion of any kind from Greenville Nissan or WITN/witn.com within 60 calendar days before the contest date are ineligible to win.

11.  To participate in the Dual Promotion, you may enter via the following method(s):

ON-SITE REGISTRATION – You may register by filling out an official registration form at Greenville Nissan, 991 SW Greenville Blvd., Greenville, NC 27834 or at special “You Know The Score” promotional appearances that may take place during the term of the contest.

VIA INTERNET – Follow the links on www.witn.com and instructions to enter and submit your first name and last name, complete address, city, state, zip code, telephone number, date of birth, and a valid email address in the online entry form. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning the email address or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Only one entry per person and one entry per email address are permitted. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address. Entries submitted will not be acknowledged or returned. Use of any device to automate entry is prohibited. Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt by Station. The contest/sweepstakes administrator’s computer is the official time keeping device for the Promotion. For purpose of this Promotion, a “Day” shall begin at 12:00:00 a.m. ET and shall end at 11:59:59 p.m. ET.

12.  Difficulties with getting to locations to enter the contest are not the responsibility of Greenville Nissan or WITN/witn.com.

13.  As winner of the grand prize, you will be required to sign a release form before your prize will be awarded. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners will be required to complete and submit an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent including the winner’s full Social Security Number for receipt of any prize valued at $600 or more or for any prizes awarded by the Station in a calendar year with an aggregate value of $600 or more. Failure to submit a complete W-9 or equivalent will result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize.

14.  As a grand prize winner, you acknowledge that Greenville Nissan, WITN/witn.com and American Hole ‘n One have the right to, without further authorization, publicize your name, character likeness, photograph, voice, and the fact that you are a grand prize winner for promotional purposes without financial remuneration.

15.  Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, and depending on the nature of the prize and eligibility requirements of the Promotion, the Station in its sole discretion will require verification of Promotion winner’s identification by a showing of valid government-issued photo identification. By participating and/or accepting a prize, entrants, winners and guests (if applicable) agree to release and hold harmless the Station, its sponsor(s) and promotional partner(s), its advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated entities, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns of each of them (collectively, the “Released Parties”) harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the Promotion.

16.  There is no purchase necessary to enter or win the dual contests. Void where prohibited.

17.  There will be no substitution or cash alternatives for prizes. Participation in the dual contests and the prizes awarded are non-transferable. Failure to collect the prize constitutes forfeiture of the prize. If forfeited, the prize will remain the property of WITN/witn.com. Another winner will not be selected.

18.  Greenville Nissan and WITN/witn.com reserve the right to make rule or contest changes at any time. Greenville Nissan and WITN/witn.com also reserve the right to change the aforementioned dates.

19.  The decision of WITN/witn.com management in the interpretation of these rules is final. By participating, persons agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges and the official contest rules.

20.  If the winner is found in violation of the rules, he/she may be required to forfeit his/her prize.

21.  Greenville Nissan, WITN/witn.com, their representatives, agencies and employees, are not responsible for any liabilities arising directly or indirectly from the award or use of the prize(s).

22.  Greenville Nissan, WITN/witn.com, their representatives, agencies and employees, are not responsible for any changes or difficulties in travel or prize delivery.

23.  The chance to win the grand prize includes:

Two (2) finalists will be randomly selected prior to the start of the first designated game on 9/10/11 through the final designated game on 11/26/11 for the chance to win. At the completion of the designated game, if the either of the two (2) official finalists prediction(s) exactly matches the actual final score for both teams, that finalist will win the grand prize, subject to verification. The prize does not cover any other expenses, including but not limited to tax. Greenville Nissan and WITNwitn.com are not responsible and provide no warranties regarding the operation or use of the grand prize. Other restrictions may apply. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Automated voting of any kind is not allowed.

24.  The Station, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person (and all of their entries) from this Promotion if he or she tampers with the entry process, the operation of the Promotion, or the operation of the Station’s website or is otherwise in violation of the rules. The Station further reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Promotion, or any part of it, if it is not capable of completion as planned or if any fraud, technical failures or any factor beyond the Station’s control, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion as determined by the Station in is sole discretion. Any attempt by an entrant or any person to deliberately damage any station web channel or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the Station reserves the right to seek full prosecution and/or damages from any such individual to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Station’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of this provision. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any competition or prize-related event or travel is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to modify, terminate, suspend or cancel the Promotion and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.

25.  The Released Parties are not responsible for (i) typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the Promotion, or in the announcement of a prize; (ii) entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties, malfunctions, disconnections, other technological failures, telephone service outages, delays, dropped calls, or busy signals, or any other difficulties that may prevent an individual from sending or receiving a text message; or (iii) lost, stolen, mangled, misdirected, postage due, illegible, incomplete, incorrect, or late entries. Further, the Released Parties are not responsible if any part of a Promotion prize that cannot be awarded due to acts of god, acts of war, natural disasters, weather, acts of terrorism or other factors beyond the Station’s control.

26.  These official rules shall be available for inspection during normal business hours at Greenville Nissan (991 SW Greenville Blvd, Greenville, NC 27834) and WITN-TV (3057 Highway 17 South, Chocowinity, NC 27817) or on-line at www.witn.com under the “Contest” heading.
