CONDITIONAL PRIZE CONTEST

(9/05/09, 9/12/09, 9/19/09, 9/26/09, 10/03/09, 10/10/09, 10/17/09, 10/27/09, 11/05/09, 11/15/09, 11/21/09, 11/28/09)

1.     Greenville Nissan and WITN/witn.com will conduct dual contests on the above listed contest date(s) for a chance to win the following grand prize:

a.)    Final Score Prediction Grand Prize – 2009 Nissan Cube (max value of $18,000.00) (One (1) per contest.)

2.     Contest(s) can be entered prior to game-time on-line at www.witn.com , or by completing contest registration form at Greenville Nissan, 991 SW Greenville Blvd., Greenville, NC 27834 and/or special contest registration events during the East Carolina Pirates 2009 Regular Season. No Purchase Necessary. One (1) entry per day, per entry method. Each contestant must fill out an official entry blank for the chance to become an official finalist in the conditional grand prize contest giveaway. All entrants must attempt to predict the exact final score of the designated East Carolina Pirates football game. The exact final score prediction must be clearly and legibly recorded on the official entry blank and delivered to WITN by 6:00pm local time on Thursday (Friday for the 10/27/09 game and Tuesday for the 11/05/09 game) prior to the game to be considered eligible to become an official finalist prediction.

3.     A total of 2 finalists per game will be randomly selected from all the entries received by 6:00pm on Wednesday* prior to that week’s game for the chance to win the grand prize(s). One contestant will be selected from entries received on-line on www.witn.com, the second contestant will be selected from entries received at Greenville Nissan and/or the special contest registration events. The selected finalists names will be announced on WITN 7 News at 6:00pm-Wednesday*. WITN/witn.com will then contact the selected finalist(s) and they must reply to WITN/witn.com within 24 hours and submit their written prediction by 6:00pm on the Thursday* prior to the game to be eligible to win. If either of the selected finalists fails to contact WITN/witn.com and/or provide their prediction, that finalist will be eliminated from the contest, and will not be eligible to participate for the chance to win the grand prize. An alternate finalist will then be selected from the matching pool of contest entries.

4.     At the completion of the designated game, each finalist’s one (1) official prediction will be compared against the actual final score from that week’s game. A Grand Prize winner will be declared only if one or both of the finalist’s one (1) official prediction exactly matches the actual final score of the designated game. Maximum of two (2) grand prize winners, one (1) grand prize per entry method. If none of the official finalist(s) prediction(s) matches the actual final score of the designated game, no grand prize will be awarded.

5.     If there is a grand prize winner, the winner must come to WITN/witn.com at a mutually agreed date and time at least two weeks prior to the delivery of the grand prize.

6.     The dual contests are open to persons 18 years of age and older with a valid driver’s license. Employees of Greenville Nissan, WITN/Gray Television Stations, Inc., other related sponsors, and their immediate families may not participate and are not eligible to win. The term “immediate families” includes spouses, grandparents, parents, siblings, children, and grandchildren.

7.     Persons who have been previously selected as a finalist in this contest, or who have won another contest or promotion of any kind from Greenville Nissan or WITN/witn.com within 30 calendar days before the contest date are ineligible to win.

8.     Difficulties with getting to locations to enter the contest are not the responsibility of Greenville Nissan or WITN/witn.com.

9.     As winner of the grand prize, you will be required to sign a release form before your prize will be awarded. You will be responsible for all-applicable registration fees, title fees, and taxes including state, local, and federal and therefore must present a valid Social Security Card before claiming your prize.

10.   As a grand prize winner, you acknowledge that Greenville Nissan, WITN/witn.com and American Hole ‘n One have the right to, without further authorization, publicize your name, character likeness, photograph, voice, and the fact that you are a grand prize winner for promotional purposes without financial remuneration.

11.   There is no purchase necessary to enter or win the dual contests. Void where prohibited.

12.   There will be no substitution or cash alternatives for prizes. Participation in the dual contests and the prizes awarded are non-transferable. Failure to collect the prize constitutes forfeiture of the prize. If forfeited, the prize will remain the property of WITN/witn.com. Another winner will not be selected.

13.   Greenville Nissan and WITN/witn.com reserve the right to make rule or contest changes without notice at any time. Greenville Nissan and WITN/witn.com also reserve the right to change the aforementioned dates without notice.

14.   The decision of WITN/witn.com management in the interpretation of these rules is final. By participating, persons agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges and the official contest rules.

15.   If the winner is found in violation of the rules, he/she may be required to forfeit his/her prize.

16.   Greenville Nissan, WITN/witn.com, their representatives, agencies and employees, are not responsible for any liabilities arising directly or indirectly from the award or use of the prize(s).

17.   Greenville Nissan, WITN/witn.com, their representatives, agencies and employees, are not responsible for any changes or difficulties in travel or prize delivery.

18.   The chance to win the grand prize includes:

Two (2) finalists will be randomly selected prior to the start of the designated game for the chance to win. At the completion of the designated game, if the either of the two (2) official finalist sprediction exactly matches the actual final score for both teams, that finalist will win the grand prize, subject to verification. The prize does not cover any other expenses, including but not limited to tax. Greenville Nissan and WITNwitn.com are not responsible and provide no warranties regarding the operation or use of the grand prize. Other restrictions may apply.

 

* The final contestant(s) during the week of 10/26/09 will be selected on Thursday, October 22nd and

will have 24 hours from that time to make their prediction. The final contestant(s) for the game on 10/27/2009

must submit their prediction by 6:00pm on Friday, October 23rd to be eligible. The final contestant(s) during the

week of 11/02/09 will be selected on Monday, November 2nd and will have 24 hours from that time to make their

prediction. The contestant(s) for the game on 11/05/2009 must submit their prediction by 6:00pm on Tuesday,

November 3rd to be eligible.
